I am a freelance designer and illustrator with over 20 years experience
in children’s book publishing. I have worked on many different formats
including activity books and kits, novelty (flaps, plush, pop-ups, wheels),
and picture books. I've also created illustrations for the greetings card market.
For the last 8 years, I have worked within non-fiction as a designer on a series of Lift-the flap books. I have now completed over 40 titles across this range. I have also worked on several titles for an educational imprint.

I graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2004 with
First Class honours in BA (Hons.) Graphic Communications Management.
In 2015, I graduated from the Cambridge School of Art with
Merit in MA Children’s Book Illustration.

I live in the countryside with my husband, son, daughter and two small dogs.
I’m happiest in front of the log burner, baking cakes in the kitchen
or at my desk creating children’s books!
