I am a freelance designer and illustrator with 20+ years
experience in children’s book publishing.
I have worked on many different formats and children's genres over the years,
including activity books and kits, novelty (flaps, plush, pop-ups, wheels, lights
and sound). I've also created illustrations for the greetings card market.
Between 2017 and 2025, I have worked as the lead designer on a series of
Lift-the flap books. I have worked across 45 titles in this range
covering a multitude of non-fiction subjects.
For the last 3 years, I have also been working with an educational publisher on a series of History titles (Sharks, Cats and Food), a collaboration with Mencap and currently a Wildlife title in association with The Natural History Museum.
I live in the countryside with my husband, son, daughter and two small dogs.
I’m happiest in front of the log burner, baking cakes in the kitchen
or at my desk creating children’s books!
I'm always interested in new book projects.
Please get in touch if you'd like to work together.
